Features and performance

The analyzer of electrical parameters and process parameters – VPA323 is designated for the supervision, testing and diagnosis of hydroelectric groups and complex installations.

The equipment provides simultaneous analysis of electrical parameters, process parameters and vibrations (32 channels).

Performances:

Measurement inputs:

  • 1 three-phase power analyzer, AC/DC, 100V/600V, 5A, galvanic separation on each channel;
  • 15 inputs 4-20 mA or 0-10V;
  • 3 IEPE type vibration inputs;
  • 1 speed input and speed reference;
  • 16-bit resolution, 25 kS/s/ch sampling rate, 0.1% accuracy.

Power supply:

  • 230/150V – 50 Hz/60 Hz

Digital inputs/outputs:

  • 4 optocoupler type inputs 0 – 24 Vdc for viewing machine status;
  • 4 optocoupler outputs 0 – 24 Vdc/100 mA with warning, protection or command function.

Analog outputs:

  • 2 analog outputs for generating signals with programmable shape, amplitude and frequency.

Interfaces:

  • USB (PC communication);
  • Ethernet (remote surveillance via fixed internet);

Access

Hours of operation

From Monday to Friday, between 8:00 and 16:00, excluding holidays

Areas of use

The equipment is used for measuring/analyzing the parameters (electrical, vibration, speed) of low, medium and high power electric machines.

Involvement of the equipment in teaching activities

The partial discharge bridge is used to support:

  • laboratory activities carried out with students in the disciplines:
    • Equipment testing – Year III, EM, Bachelor;
  • activities for the completion of studies at the undergraduate and master's cycles;
  • doctoral research activities.
