The PRESCO-AG partial discharge bridge is a device designated for the measuring of the level of partial discharges in the insulation of high voltage electrical machines.

The charged rates take into account the material and personnel expenses related to the requested measurements.

Hours of operation

 

From Monday to Friday, between 8:00 and 16:00, excluding holidays

Areas of use

The partial discharge bridge is used to measure partial discharges in the winding bars of stator windings and in fully assembled stator windings.

The equipment allows checking the insulation performance of high voltage machines and transformers.

The device can be used to check the insulation performance of high-power hydrogenerators in hydroelectric power plants in Romania, for various beneficiaries of SC Hidroelectrica SA.

Involvement of the equipment in teaching activities

The partial discharge bridge is used to support:

  • laboratory activities carried out with students for the discipline:
    • Equipment testing – Year III, EM, Bachelor;
  • activities for the completion of studies at the undergraduate and master's cycles;
  • doctoral research activities.
