The M1C 010 Emco Test micro hardness tester is a durometer designed to measure hardness at small test forces, located in the range from 0.1-30 kgf. Performances:

Areas of use |
The microdurometer is used for hardness tests that require small test forces (0.1 kgf - 30 kgf), such as: small-sized samples, thin layers, determining the hardness of structural constituents that make up the microstructure of metallic materials. The device can be used, for example, in research aiming the development of wear-resistant protective coatings, by identifying the structural constituents with high hardness, which enter into the composition of the layers. The microdurometer is also used in metallographic expertise carried out for economic agents in order to establish the cause that led to the destruction of machine parts during processing or exploitation or to carry out qualitative industrial analyses. |
